Gaming for Hope, Inc was founded by 9 year-old Kevin. Kevin was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor and scoliosis in 2019. After six years of chemotherapy treatments and multiple surgeries, Kevin underwent rod surgery to address his scoliosis, and had a full tumor resection in 2025.
During the long course of his treatment, Kevin developed a passion for video games, and ultimately for building gaming PC's. Knowing how difficult and challenging cancer treatment is, Kevin decided to start his own nonprofit to build PCs and donate them to other kids undergoing treatment.
